Introduction to the unknown at Upwey Village Hall

A Series of monthly "Alchemist Evenings", which hopes to provoke a "crucible of debate", is about to be launched by David and Mary Kingston, the Dorset UFO investigators and organisers of the annual Unexplained conferences at Dorchester for the past dozen years.

Billed as an "introduction to the unknown" through big-screen presentations, the events start on June 17, when David, from Weymouth, will present the 2001 American UFO documentary Out of the Blue, in which he features.

David said: "With the release of the documentation from the Ministry of Defence under the Freedom of Information Act, a lot of people are asking 'do these things exist - is there something more?'"

And on July 15, it's the mystery of the huge crop formation which appeared at East Field, Alton Barnes, Wiltshire, on July 7 last year, apparently following an electromagnetic pulse witnessed by researchers during a nightwatch. David will be showing unedited film footage of the incident.

Future subjects include the film The Moses Code, Devon author Laurence Gardner's investigations into the "bloodline of the Holy Grail", revealing the hidden lineage of Jesus, the Celestine Prophecy, and conspiracy theories surrounding the World Trade Center attack on September 11, 2001.

The Alchemist Evenings will be at the Upwey School Village Hall, Upwey, Dorset, at 7.30pm, admission £4, including refreshments. Inquiries to David and Mary on 01305 750399 or email alchemist. newsletter@virgin.net
