News Clipping: Historic White Horse landmark 'ruined by Anneka Rice quick-fix' 20 years ago to be restored

A historic landmark is to be restored to its original glory 20 years after TV personality Anneka Rice accidentally ruined it.

The 200-year-old Osmington White Horse was carved into the Dorset hill as a monument to King George III.

The TV show Challenge Anneka attempted to spruce up the figure in 1989, but after looking splendid for a short time it soon deteriorated.
